Abstract

The paper reviews the use of inherent compensation and cancellation principles of the unity gain frequency effect (f1) of op amps (OAs) on basic parameters of the 2-nd order active ARC-filters (AFs). The functional and topological rules of the synthesis of such AF structures are laid down. It is shown that the cancellation effects of separate op amps influence on the pole frequency and attenuation are achieved by introduction of two independent loops of special compensating feedbacks. An example of structural synthesis of the 2-nd order universal section with low (approximately by two orders) current consumption and low influence of unity gain frequencies of op amps on the pole parameters is given. The expediency of the use of the differential difference op amps (DDAs) in basic-circuit arrangements of the 2-nd order filter is shown.
