Abstract

Sensory information specified on MPEG-V Part 3 presents standardized formats for setting up and implementing various 4-D effects. The selection of media and technologies using which sensory information is applied and implemented is implementation dependent, and there have been higher demands of studies on effective methods for transportation of sensory information. Korea domestic analog TV services have been officially switched-off and any television images are transparently transported and presented as a Transport Stream(TS) via DTV and mobile devices using the flexible technical features of DVB-T2. And it would rather be a natural solution to define methods for synchronization of media and sensory information utilizing TS features. In this paper, we propose effective synchronization methods for integrating sensory information with audio and visual stream which is represented as a digital content.
