Abstract

In the future, intelligent sensors will connected through networks, each node have its own autonomy, heterogeneity, and under dynamic environments. We call these systems as a Heterogeneous Autonomous Decentralized Systems (HADS). Autonomy is an essential characteristic of HADS. In this paper, the application scenario, the technical challenge, the spatial and temporal measurements of sensor networks are discussed. When extending traditional ADS technologies to the sensor networks, we proposed some technical problems from autonomous coordination point of view, which are based on those measurements. It will help researchers for their research on sensor networks.
