Abstract
This study examines the user attributes of web-based electronic services. It aims to develop a web-based electronic service model (e-sam), test its effectiveness, and from it develop an understanding about user interaction with websites. In the process constructs are developed to measure user attributes in using web-based e-services. This paper reports a survey which captured 403 responses on user attributes towards a specific university website. This paper concludes by suggesting a conceptual framework for a web-based e-service adoption model (E-SAM).
